This year, China is the featured country at the Annecy International Animated Film Festival. It will be a great opportunity to explore traditional animation as well as the essentials of contemporary animation. The museum, which is a leading partner of the Annecy International Animated Film Festival, is holding a major exhibition where contemporary art and animated films reflect each other mutually, and together bear witness to intense cultural and economic change in China. The country today is a productive breeding ground for artists who, via moving images, plot their own courses. Artisanal tradition and contemporary art intertwine, giving expression to international ambitions. The exhibition will give you an insight into this contemporary art scene, inviting you to immerse yourself in these singular and forceful works. ?
