User’s “characterization” is an important feature of contemporary social media. The artist re-drew fragments of 30 classic cartoon characters—uplifted arms, referencing Annette Lemieux’s street-political work Left Right Left Right (1995). Protest signs and clenched cartoon fists seem to rise in accusation, assembled in a dimension-reduced square with a blue-screen background, absent of any clear object of demonstration.
